Hi, I'm Robyn Coffman—
and I'm so glad you're here.

I've been learning, avoiding—and coming back to—personal growth since first grade. For real. Everything I offer flows from my own inner work and from walking closely with clients and friends over nearly 30 years. I know how much courage it takes to pursue healing and wholeness. It's not easy—but it's absolutely worth it. And you're not alone.

What I Do

I'm a professional sorter of sorts. As a counselor, coach, speaker, Bible study teacher, and author, I help women sort through all the "voices" and unlock emotional, spiritual, and relational growth. Most recently, I've started writing Bible Plans for YouVersion.

Specifically, I'm a Board-Certified Christian Counselor through IBCC, Certified Life Coach through ICF, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I hold a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Cal Poly Pomona (1995) and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary (1998).

My sweet spot is creating a safe, hospitable space where transformation can happen—one conversation, one breakthrough, one courageous step at a time.

Real Life Behind the Bio

I married my soulmate, Joey, in 1993. Together, we founded 10|10 Ministries, a nonprofit offering soul care to ministry leaders and their marriages. We especially come alive when we host a four-night, five-day intensive retreat—one couple at a time—offering what Henri Nouwen calls "hospitality to the soul."

Over three decades of marriage, we've shared beautiful adventures and weathered challenging seasons together. Our most treasured adventure has been raising two incredible kids who are now launched into their own lives (with one recently married!).

I'm passionate about travel. Honestly, just stepping into an international airport sparks something deep in me. We've explored charming places across the U.S. and beyond by ship, plane, train, RV, and even in our restored sailboat. I'm especially drawn to warm oceans, cobblestone streets, and anywhere with a fresh and cozy ambiance and a good cup of tea.

Where I Feel at Home

Southern California and Prescott, Arizona are both home to me. You'll often find me creating content or catching up with a friend in a local coffee shop (even though I only drink tea), curating meaningful moments for my family and closest friends, treasure-hunting in thrift stores, or indulging in the ultimate treat—savoring a cinnamon roll at Con Pane in San Diego's Liberty Station.

The Harder Parts of My Story

Tragedy hit early in my life. When I was six, my dad went into a coma after a severe car accident, and after making a miraculous recovery, he was killed in another car accident when I was eight. That was the beginning of repeated losses and tragedies that left me carrying more than one person should. There were seasons when the pain nearly did me in.

But through Jesus, a patient husband, loving family, good therapy, and lots of journaling and podcasts, real joy and anchored hope have slowly risen above it all.

That's why I do this work. To encourage you. To remind you that healing is possible.

When we lean into personal growth with honesty and courage, we unlock more hope, healing, freedom, and love than we ever imagined possible.
